It has been more than a month since deadly Israeli airstrikes began targeting Beirut, the Bekaa Valley, Tyre, Nabatieh, and several villages across Lebanon. On Tuesday, 7 April, more than 100 Israeli airstrikes struck the country. Casualties are still being confirmed and continue to rise, with current reports indicating that hundreds have been killed and more than 1,000 people wounded.
More than 1.25 million people are now displaced and have fled from their homes in Beirut and nearly 50 villages in the south following bombardments and evacuation warnings. This adds to more than 112,525 people who are still displaced from earlier escalations. The situation remains tense and unpredictable, with concerns that the conflict could expand further.
