Short Story
On 14 October, WGHS Muslim Students’ Association hosted a Mother-Daughter Workshop, with incredible guest speaker, Madiegah Jacobs, for Charity Week.
We hosted an inspiring workshop, where we engaged in various therapeutic and bonding activities between mother and daughter. The workshop explored the significant bond between a mother and daughter as well as the importance of connection. One of the highlights was the back to back drawing activity where the one had to describe a picture and the other had to draw it. These activities sparked meaningful conversations and beautiful memories.

Campaign Story
The Wynberg Girls High School MSA is a space where learners gather for advice, share knowledge, support each other and foster a sense of belonging. We aim to create a space that is inclusive, and celebrates and embodies our Islamic values. We are committed to our school’s core values and those in broader South African society. We organise numerous activities and facilitate programmes ranging from charity drives to large events and initiatives.
This year our MSA took part in Charity Week, where different organisations, institutions and MSA’s hosted different events to raise funds for Islamic Relief.
We are so honoured to have taken part in this phenomenal initiative again.
As a MSA, we value giving back to the community and helping others. We would greatly appreciate your support in helping us raise funds for those in need.
